Xinyu obtained her bachelor of physics from Shandong University of Technology in China and joined the lab to research nanomaterials projects (2015-2019).  

She obtained her master’s degree in physics from Zhejiang Normal University(2019-2022). She studied fiber sensing, fiber lasers, and micro-nano optics. She published two papers as the first author.  

In 2022, she joined LOUM to pursue a doctoral degree and devoted herself to the field of Visual Optics. Her research topic is on two-photon vision based on adaptive optics.
