I graduated in Physics at the University of Salamanca (Spain) in 2014, continuing with a research project based on ballistic imaging in diffuse media, which quickly conditioned myself to continue my career in light in scattering media.

Right after it I started my PhD in Physics at the University of Exeter with Dr. Jacopo Bertolotti and Prof. Bill Barnes on “light in scattering media: active control and the exploration of intensity correlations” defended in April 2018. I continued as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Exeter in the same group up until August 2018.

I  joined the University of Murcia as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with Prof. Pablo Artal where I have been working on the improvement of vision and imaging through eye’s cataracts.

I have also worked as an Optical Engineer at Voptica developing and implementing new optical designs and setups  and also researching and improving ophthalmic instruments for clinical diagnosis.

At this moment, I’ve been granted by a MSCA Individual Fellow grant for two years of postdoctoral research at LOUM.
