The Advanced Summer School is organized within the "Sharp-Eye" European-Union Research Training Network by the Laboratorio de Optica of the University of Murcia (LOUM). It is specially addressed to graduate students and post-docs working in these areas. The school is OPEN to participants from any laboratory in the world. To facilitate the participation of young researchers there is NO registration fee. However, every participant have to register on line in the School web page (on-line registration form). Acceptance will be communicated by the Organizing Committee via e-mail. No financial help can be provided by the School to cover any travel expenses. Participants are required to make their own travel and accommodation arrangements for staying in Murcia. You can find a list with some hotels in Murcia here, and directions to reach the LOUM building here. World-class experts both from "Sharp-Eye" Network laboratories and from other leading laboratories will teach in the School, covering general overview lectures and cutting-edge advanced research results. Discussion and active participation will be specially encouraged. Each session will be moderated to foster discussion. |
